The single most useful thing you can do. Describe what to look for: enlarging or draining wounds, visible maggots, and animal distress.
Texas: Contact your nearest Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) area office or USDA-APHIS Veterinary Services area office immediately.

New Mexico: Contact the New Mexico Livestock Board to report a suspected case.
2. Push for a faster response
Contact your state and federal representatives to fund sterile-fly production and detection.

Share the outbreak status page — the more people watching, the faster cases get reported.
